The Skyhawk is like the one fo the first models I built. I don't think I built my first Japanese aircraft until I was 9 or 10. My brother had this beautiful girlfriend, Dawn, who bought me my very first Kawanishi H6K2 and H6K2 models. I never imagined I would have the collection I have now. My mentor made me curious to the A-4 Skyhawk, which has been used by others outside of the US. These really aren't 13s, but they relate to new knowledge I learned today. U.S. Navy Douglas A-4F Skyhawks from Attack Squadron VA-212 Rampant Raiders (NP-3XX), VA-164 Ghost Riders
(NP-4XX), and VA-55 War Horses (NP-5XX) on deck of the aircraft carrier USS Hancock (CVA-19).
All squadrons were assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 21 (CVW-21) aboard the Hancock for a deployment to Vietnam
from 2 August 1969 to 15 April 1970.
