George that plane has an interesting history. This is the aircraft of Hélène Antoinette Eugénie Boucher. Hélène Boucher's Caudron Rafale C.450, powered by a small 310hp engine, in which she set the international all-category 1,000km speed record for men and women at 409.2 km/h, and the international all-category 100km speed record for women at 412.4 km/h. She was killed in a flying accident in November 1934.
