I can't believe they actually made 17 of them.
Maybe they were an exercise in training workers to build kites or tree-houses or storage containers with built-in shade awnings on the sides, mistaken for wings, complete with 3-bladed air-moving fans.

Wasn't the Zubr built out of a combination of manufacturing methods? None of which were adopted by every other manufacturer?

Certainly wasn't by the TLAR (That Looks About Right) method.
Might be the Kentucky Windage method.
Or perhaps the SNAFU / FUBAR setup.
And it was likely based at TPOT (That Place Over There).
Now that it has been pointed out, I see it is a TC-power unit (Two-Cow).
