56th FG -- How big was it?

I understand that the 56th FG consisted of the 61st, 62nd and 63rd fighter squadrons.

How many operational fighters and pilots did the 56th have later in the war?

P-47M of the 56th that was earlier displayed under the Eiffel Tower indicating 1,000 planes destroyed.
