800 HP from an 80LB Motor

Imagine putting that into an airplane. Koenigsegg is putting it in their Gemera hypercar, which came out in 2023. It has six phases. The 85 HP engine in my Ercoupe weighs 167 LB.
The motor has half the weight and 10 times the power. Of course I guess you would need some kind of gearing to match it to a propeller. And batteries capable of producing 750 amps would be a challenge, as would the converters to turn it into AC. But even so it is impressive.

I could imagine putting into an airplane. I can also imagine putting the batteries in.

Power density was rarely a problem for the electric motors.
Energy density for the batteries was a killer, though.
