Nice to see there is still common sense in the Air Force Brass-with the exception of retiring 1/3rd of the fleet though!

A great aircraft.

A friend of mine that I used to crew for in the Army, is now in the Airforce and flies the A-10. I always look forward to his updates and pics.

If I had gone into the military and could not fly fighters, the A-10 would have been my steed of choice.

We are oriented towards fighting terrorist threats such as the Taliban. UAVs and Stryker wheeled APCs are king in such conflicts. But we still need M1 tanks, Bradley IFVs, F-22 fighter aircraft, A-10 CAS aircraft etc. for fighting a war with someone such as Iran or Pakistan.
