Hi,
I'm not very sure this is the correct place to start this thread, but I found those pictures so nice, that I thought they will be interesting for all Italian friends and not only for them.
A C-47 pilot was in Italy in 1945-46 and brought with him his cameras.
His son recently decided to post them on flickr.
As you will see going to the link, this guy decided to dedicate his attention mostly to people and monuments, with few ecceptions.
Of course his plane, a worn-off Italian bird, two fellows sitting on crashed He-111 and, quite contrasting with what seemed to be his approach, a picture of Mussolini's corpse, probably not even taken by him.
