I have one of these Atlantis reissues of the very old Revell 1/64 kit. My high school math and mechanical drawing teacher was a Bomb/Nav on the Doolittle Raid and he showed me that Revell had made a special production run of that kit, all chromed, and presented them to the Raiders in the 1960's. I'd like to duplicate that presentation model using the Atlantis reissue.

Can y'all recommend a spray paint that will do the job?

Tamiya AS-12 bare metal silver would work. They are very good paints, just use protection, mask and gloves, when spraying

If you are looking for a chrome look, you can't do better than a coat of either Alclad2 Black Gloss Coat, or your favorite Smooth-laying Black Gloss enamel, followed by a very thin coat of Alclad2 #105 Polished Chrome. It is a dead ringer for the real thing, unlike the chrome on plastic car kits, and also unlike Polished Aluminum, etc.
