Yep! The converted Airfix Heinkel had bullet holes, chipped paint and oil trails ! From what I remember, this 'airborne diorama' covered an area approximately 15 x 12 feet, and from ceiling height to around 2.5 to 3 feet down, with all the models suspended by very fine nylon line, almost invisible. I'd painted the ceiling pale blue, with the contrails representing a higher conflict. There was also a small, 1/72nd scale airfield diorama, at the edge of my model railway 'layout', in the corner of the room. Still can't figure out what irritated Mum ......
