Two latest arrivals delivered by the postman.

The Whirlwind book is one of their older titles, but had my eye on getting a copy for some time. Usual Wingleader Photo Archive style, lots of good photos, well researched captions, very well done profiles, all in a well printed, tidy A4 landscape package. Glad that I bought it.

The Hawker Tempest V book is the latest in the series and most recent by Mister Typhoon and Tempest, Chris Thomas. As usual for Chris's books on the subject, lots of good photos, clear concise supporting narrative and captions, and as per his earlier Typhoon books he has also done the three view colour profile illustrations. Highly Recommended. Now where are those Eduard 1/48 Tempest V kits in my stash??........................
