A question about a Russian mini-series, on Bomber Pilots?

I have seen reference made of a Russian mini-series (out this year) about USSR bomber pilots during WW2. The Russian title is "Баллада о Бомбере", the translation is "Ballad of a Bomber"...I realize that I'm not likely to find a subtitled or dubbed version of this 8 part mini-series, but is it worth watching and muddling through? How are the visuals? Do the producers make use of any war relics (tanks, cars or aeroplanes) or do they use CGI to tell the story?

Has anyone seen this production? How is it?

If i google for "Баллада о Бомбере" and klick at the second link i can watch the whole series.... I doubt that it´s legal anyway. So better stay away from it
