About the NATO reporting names for the Su-27SM and the J-7

I've got some new questions. According to the English Wikipedia entry for the Su-27, its NATO reporting name is Flanker‑E. But isn't Flanker‑E the designation for the Su‑35?


Also, could someone share the NATO reporting name for the J‑7? I've heard it's Fishcan, which is different from the MiG‑21. I only know that the J‑7E is Fishcan‑D. Does anyone know which variants correspond to Fishcan‑A, B, and C?

Flanker-A was the prototype for the Su-27.
Flanker-B was the first production variant, the Su-27(no suffix)
Flanker-C = Su-27UB
Flanker-D = Su-27K = Su-33
Flanker-E-1 = Su-27M = Su-35
Flanker-E-2 = Su-37
