got in a lot of paint work in this long weekend
pretty happy with it so far, I need to slightly widen the vertical part of the red line on the flaps - little too thin right now compared to the horizontal
the vallejo metal color going down nicely with a slight mix of flow improver and airbrush thinner and followed vallejo's youtube video for the subtle variations on some of the panels
thanks for looking

thanks Geo
I'm having better luck with them this time around by not mixing in any retarder, last usage was still tacky for several days after spraying

I never add anything. I bang the crap out of the bottom to loosen everything up. Shake for an hour or so while looking at references or playing on-line crib. Start spraying, two to three seconds and then send a blast of air to clean the tip off. If masking, wait a minimum of 24hrs and then de-tack the bejaysus out of the tape

yeah, I'll try straight from the bottle next time
I did add a touch of thinner and flow improver as most of the time when I spray vallejo I would frequently get tip dry at inopportune times :(

little bit closer with painting insignia's and 'Rotation Blues'
I do like making the masks and painting the insignia, but they can be a pain sometimes
the insignia's need a bit of minor touch up and a couple of the red bar's are a little out of alignment which i'm just going to live with
that and noticed I could have done a little more diligence on sanding wing edges in some areas

but overall pretty happy so far with how things are coming together, the Rotation Blues came out really well

thanks for looking!
