Looking for any information, pictures, URL ...about the P-38 (E?) Lightning deployed during WWII on the Aleutian Pacific Operation Theater.
Modelling project.

The Thousand-Mile War: World War II in Alaska and the Aleutians
by Brian Garfield

which one do you consider as the best to me . (i'm french, I can read english but if there are more pictures from planes in one than the other, it would be better to achieve a model kit...)

I just ordered Thousand-Mile War from Amazon, but it sometimes takes a while for books to get across the Pacific...
