Ah, the good old blame-game, a game without winner.
So the real winner is Ukraine.

Ah, the good old blame-game, a game without winner.
Poland, as it is right now, has perhaps the strongest land military in Europe.
My point, is that Putin is desperate for a distraction. Ukraine pulled the curtain away from Russia's illusion of power, Wagner embarrassed Russia in less than 24 hours.
Russia has scraped the barrel and mustered up 100,000 "bodies", 900 "tanks" and 500 artillery pieces for a "great showdown" - who in all actuality are about to get annihilated.
They (Putin) needs a distraction.
*if* Wagner (with or without) Belarusian elements go after Suwalki, it's "not" Russia, it's mercinaries and/or Belarus according to Russia, the victim in all this. So NATO can't come at Russia.
If a non-national entity attacks a NATO member what does the Alliance attack against?Well, this is interesting...
Putin sent Wagner to Belarus to prepare attack on Poland: Russian lawmaker
Wagner Group forces could take a key Polish region "in a matter of hours," MP Andrey Kartapolov recently alleged.www.newsweek.com
If historical evidence is of any help. September 11 triggered article 5 for the first time in history and a US led NATO coalition invaded Afghanistan who was harboring Al-Qaeda.If a non-national entity attacks a NATO member what does the Alliance attack against?
If the Wagners were to be sent anywhere it should have been to Crimea.
It would be interesting. A small Wagner force enters Poland to attack or sabotage the rail network into Ukraine. In immediate retaliation the Polish air force bomb Wagner's camp in Belarus whilst simultaneously declaring a NATO Article 5 event. Belarus is not Russia, so Putin can't claim NATO is at war with Russia, and NATO can now remove Belarus as a threat to Ukraine. If historical evidence is of any help. September 11 triggered article 5 for the first time in history and a US led NATO coalition invaded Afghanistan who was harboring Al-Qaeda.
Wagner is right now harbored by Belorussia. What may happen if Wagner attacks a NATO country is left as an exercise to the reader.
Nevertheless such a possibility remains for now in my fiction-history stack. And if the country being attacked is Poland I don't think there will be time to invoke article 5.
Nice! I hope Ukraine is getting more demining kit. There's some mention of Ukraine below.U.S. to announce $1.3 bln in military aid for Ukraine.
Yes, but mainly before farmers tow them further into Ukraine.Russian to English translation: "they were reportedly withdrawn from the frontline" = "They suck and they had to be towed away from Ukraine"
I thought so.Poland, as it is right now, has perhaps the strongest land military in Europe.
Good point.*if* Wagner (with or without) Belarusian elements go after Suwalki, it's "not" Russia, it's mercinaries and/or Belarus according to Russia, the victim in all this. So NATO can't come at Russia.

I'd really miss his smile. It is unfortunate that there is no ICC warrant for Lavrov yet.
What he says is true. But it won't reverse over a century of anti-natalist propaganda. At a plenary session of the Russian parliament, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko urged women to give birth as early as possible, rather than pursuing education and building a career:"A belief has been formed that a woman should first get an education, make a career, and then only worry about childbearing. It leads to many problems afterward. A woman should realize that the sooner she gives birth, the better". In Murashko's opinion, this should be explained to girls since school days, as well as similar propaganda to be spread among young women at the State Services. The minister believes that postponing childbirth is a "vicious practice" that allegedly causes infertility and miscarriage. Therefore, Murashko believes it is necessary to tell a woman that the earlier she gives birth, "the better for [her] health, for the health of her children and career in the long run."
Plain English translation: We need cannon fodder!
Imagine if Poland had this formidable of a military and this level of international support in 1939.Poland, as it is right now, has perhaps the strongest land military in Europe.
