He will never see victory, nor he will be able to take back any lost grounds from invaders, unless he changes his mind and goes for way more aggressive, distractive and violent approaches, like sending missiles into Russian heartland, moskow, or any city near the old and true borders, causing panic, suffer and damage to russian people.

Those who didn't chose this path, never managed to take back what is rightfully Thiers.

Argentina and Las Malvinas, Greece and Cyprus, Armenia and Ararat, Iran and entire Caucasus and most of central Asia, Poland and Kaliningrad, and many many more examples, are proof of my words and thoughts.

And Britain and Ukraine proof of the opposite. The air raids on Britain in WW2 and the initial attacks on last year Ukraine caused the vast majority of citizens to swing massively behind the government and fight back with everything they had.

Doing any civilian damage to Russians will solidify the Russian victims against Ukraine just as the indiscriminate US bombing in Vietnam caused the population to support the Viet Cong.

Keeping up the Ukrainian mosquito bite raids against military targets in Russia keeps the lots of Russian troops and weapons away from Ukraine and, so long as they are not affected, the Russian citizens do not care.

Russia claimed the occupied area, as Russian territory, and they are behind lines / borders, so technically, it could or could not be seen as a direct attack, on Russia's real soil.

On the other hand, we are living in satellite and internet era, it means we can monitor their movements, so no need to blind shots or carpet bombings!!! Am I right?

Some buildings will damage, and some locals will die or wound, but is there any way to prevent it? It's possible to lower cassuality, but it won't be "zero", not at all.

I'm not the only one that should suffer!!!

The Russians and their supporters have to suffer panic and pain too. By any means and any how.

Ukraine keeping it's attacks to Russian occupied territory is sensible.

I understand that unleashing hell on Russian proper is tempting, but if that happens, it opens the way to a broader war.

As it stands, Ukraine simply wants Russia out of it's sovereign borders. Pushing the Russians back to their border would then allow for a justified cesation of hostilities with no recourse for Russia (in theory, at least).

Yes Putin did claim those areas as his but to the average citizen outside the warzone that is some place far away that they have no personal interest in.

Start serious raids on Moscow and St Petersburg etc and watch the population change rapidly to support Putin - especially if any of the historical monuments are damaged.

The Russian military said a Ukrainian missile strike on a shipyard in annexed Crimea had damaged a Russian ship.

The Russian Defense Ministry said late Saturday that Ukrainian forces fired 15 cruise missiles at the Zaliv shipyard in Kerch, a city in the east of the Crimean Peninsula. Air defenses shot down 13 missiles but others hit the shipyard and damaged a vessel, a statement from the ministry said.

The ministry didn't give details about the ship or the extent of the damage.

The Ukrainian air force commander, Mykola Oleshchuk, said in a statement that at the time of the attack carried out by Ukrainian tactical aviation, "one of the most modern ships of Russia's Black Sea fleet was at the shipyard — carrier of the Kalibr cruise missiles." He didn't say directly, however, that this particular ship was damaged by the strike.

Not talking about Moscow, at moment, but as a general rule, we use capitals and countries, interchangeably, especially in English, So, term "Moscow", can be anywhere in Russia, From Kaliningrad to Kamchatka, including Moscow, itself.
