I guess it depends on the hardware/software mix they can install in the QF-4s as to whether it could fly nap-of-earth. I know the F-111s had that ability -- on autopilot -- in the early 70s. I'm sure the F-4s never had it organically, so it would have to be added on.

I am talking about one way missiles…big bloody missiles.It's been so long since F-111s were flying that I doubt it would be cost-effective to turn them into drones. Ex-Luftwaffe Tornados, on the other hand...now that might work and they're still (just) in service. The Tonka had excellent terrain-following capabilities.
