France, Norway say jet fighter deliveries to Ukraine 'on schedule'
Oslo (AFP) Jan 16, 2025 - France and Norway, two of the handful of countries that have pledged jet fighters to Ukraine, will meet their commitments on schedule, the two countries' defence ministers said Thursday in Oslo.

All these oil refinery, storage depot, and pipeline transfer center fires - Oh my! This should teach people who invade other countries that they better make sure they have built up a huge supply of firefighting foam before they invade.
Not really a joke. Apparently there is an acute shortage of fire suppressants and such for firefighting in Russia.
Also, about half their pre-war federal and military firefighting personnel have beendrafted reassigned (mainly the younger ones) - leaving the firefighting units severely understaffed.
In addition, there is a shortage of heavy transport vehicles for over-the-road supply chains - many vehicles have been requisitioned by the Russian military for the war effort.
