Anyone who pushes Ukraine to agree to Russia's demand that a full ceasefire is contingent upon foreign countries stopping provision of arms and intelligence to Ukraine is either a fool or in bed with the Russians. This is tantamount to surrender and will only result in one thing.

Naturally not because they are expected to roll over and expose their throat so it can be ripped out by the two wolves posing as mediators.

Did you all realise that Ukraine is expected to stop all its attacks on Russian energy and infrastructure and all Black Sea operations as a part of this deal?

A great deal for Putin and suicide for Ukraine.

I hope I'm wrong, but I just can't see a ceasefire and final settlement where Ukraine regains much of anything in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, let alone Luhansk and Donetsk. And forget about Crimea. Can anyone suggest a path where Ukraine regains any of this lost territory in an US-brokered settlement with Russia? Now that Russia has liberated Kursk, I expect Putin will agree to a ceasefire on the current frontlines and call it a victory.

Sadly, I think you're probably correct in that assessment

I think it is even worse than that. A ceasefire of the sort hinted at will not only reward Putin/Russia for the illegal acts (incl war crimes), it will only pause things to allow Russia to regroup before attacking again. As multiple have said, Russia always breaks the deals!
