More details of the "recoilless" disposable barrel shotguns being used on FPV drones to intercept enemy drones, it seems they are taking standard shotgun cartridges and just drilling them out for an electric igniter.

The fiberglass reinforced pipe they are using is typically rated for a maximum of 25 bar, of course the actual burst pressure is much higher but still, 12 gauge cartridges easily generate 500 bar of chamber pressure so I am surprised the pipe seems to remain intact. They do empty out a bit of powder though, so perhaps that is enough to make a difference.
