We're seeing Ukraine striking deep into Russia with drones, and we're inundated with videos of Ukrainian strikes on Russian troops at and behind the front lines. But what we rarely see are any examples of Ukraine retaking any territory. Is the UAF army's offensive capability spent?

That's a good point. However, I'm not sure that either the previous or current administration has delivered anything close to the number of systems to be retired. Again, I'm going off information that was posted here, Perhaps someone might be able to shed some light on the numbers?
 

Moscow pounded Kyiv and other cities in Ukraine with the largest missile and drone attack since the three-year war in Eastern Europe started, less than a day after President Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Kremlin's military launched 550 drones and missiles at Ukraine during the overnight attack, according to Ukraine's air force. Most of the drones were Shahed drones, but 11 Russian missiles were also fired.

Ukraine's officials said the attack hit residential buildings, lit cars on fire and damaged ambulance vehicles. One person was killed and at least 24 people were injured, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Klitschko wrote on Telegram that 12 people were in the hospital and that five ambulances were damaged.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote Friday morning on the social platform X that the first air raid alerts in Ukraine's cities went off "almost simultaneously with media reports discussing a phone call between President Trump and Putin. Yet again, Russia is showing it has no intention of ending the war and terror."


A clear signal to Trump, who still doesn't realize he's being played like a violin.

THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — Two Dutch intelligence agencies said on Friday that Russia is increasing its use of prohibited chemical weapons in Ukraine, including the World War I-era poison gas chloropicrin.

The Netherlands' military intelligence and the security service, together with the German intelligence service, found that the use of prohibited chemical weapons by the Russian military had become "standardized and commonplace" in Ukraine.

According to the findings, the Russian military uses chloropicrin and riot control agent CS against sheltering Ukrainian soldiers, who are then forced out into the open and shot.

Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans called for more sanctions against Moscow, and continued military support for Kyiv.

Brekelmans, who stayed on in a caretaker role after the Dutch government collapsed last month, said that he doesn't want to see the use of chemical weapons become normalized.
