Ukraine is also losing its dependence on the USA. Its very important don't get me wrong, but they are more independent and when they have their own long range missiles, USA and Europe will not be able to say that they cannot attack certain targets. They will have free reign.
I mentioned a while back (and still hold this belief) that when the dust settles, Ukraine will be a premier military power and as she rebuilds, will be an economic and industrial asset to Europe.
It's a tragedy that so many lives had to be wasted for this transition to happen, but herr Putler accidently triggered this shift with his delusions of grandeur, which most likely will have cost him his nation's standing on the world stage in the process.

I really hope that Ukraine gets more basic stuff like aluminum ready to smelt, IC chips compatible with the software they're writing, and 155 shells. Meanwhile American aid to Ukraine, which has also helped the American economy, must now find markets in countries which don't trust us to pull through when push comes to shove.
