Day 50 is here with absolutely no US actions to sanction or tariffs or in any other way punish Russia. Not even a "bad Vlad".

It is therefore clear that the official Washington policy is:
  • Ukraine damaging Russian fuel and rail assets to slow down the Russian invasion of Ukraine (and as a side effect damaging the Russian economy) is VERY VERY BAD as the King would put it. He has made this clear in many ways on Pravda Social and other statements.
  • Russia damaging Ukrainian fuel, oil, hospitals and other non-military targets are perfectly acceptable and there is no reason Vlad should not continue doing so.

I doubt that any of us are surprised by this.

The following clearly shows that the USA isn't spending any more on Ukraine but is selling items to NATO (plus a 10% mark up) who can give this to Ukraine.

The inevitable result will be that NATO countries will spend as much as they can on home developed and produced equipment resulting in the medium to long term, to less orders going to US companies. In a lot of areas European and other countries are at least as good if not better than US equipment, plus are often cheaper.

If anyone holds shares in US military defence industries you may want to think about selling them while times are good.

I totally agree.

In worst case scenario the US does something to upset Europe and UK and they stop exporting military equipment to the USA and that instantly stops the production of the F-35 and no doubt other US weapons. Major F-35 airframe components are made in the UK, and probably other nations also demand local production offsets as part of any procurement.

What the US Putin enablers do not realise is that when this war is over Ukraine will reward supporting nations with all the rebuilding contracts.

The US will get none of those contracts.
