I remember reding that the Su-25 was out of production and there are only about 100 of them. Did Russia restart production or is the Frogfoot an endangered species?

Any concessions enforced on Ukraine will mean that over 40,000 civilians killed, murdered and tortured, will have died in vain. This does not include 5he Ukrainian soldiers who have been tortured and murdered by Russian troops.

Do not think for a moment, that Zelensky overlooks this fact when he makes it clear that Ukraine will not give an inch of soil.

I suspect that now isn't the time to show any weakness. Yes Russia are making advances in some areas but at a fierce cost. However Ukraine are showing that they are still in the fight. The Russian economy is finally starting to show some significant cracks and in some ways time is now no longer just on the side of Russia.
On the front line they have almost run out of military armoured vehicles, whereas Ukraine seem to be getting more and better equipment. The people of Russia are really starting to feel the economic pain and no doubt the losses, plus it is becoming clear that Ukraine can hit more or less where they want inside Russia and people will notice that.

Some of the pro Russian pundits on state television are changing their tone a bit. No longer so positive about the outcome. Recently there have been comments that it will take us 100 years to capture Ukraine at this rate. Moaning about the damage that Ukraine can do so far behind the front lines, the damage to the economy and so on.

Ukraine hold the view that they want Crimea back. I suspect that that is and always has been a wishful thought, but its something the can 'concede' in negotiations for the return of some of the areas that Russia has taken since the 2022 invasion.

If Tump goes in and tells Putin ' give up a good chunk of what you have taken or we will give Ukraine pretty much all they want without any restrictions, and you can keep Crimea' Who knows what might happen.

All we can do is hold our breath and wait for the outcome.

Neither one gets it. Instead give Crimea back to the Tatars and their sauce and be shot of it.
