I think we are lucky to have PM Carney. He's generating some concerns about Trump-acquiescing infringing upon privacy rights, but overall we have a well connected, serious man for serious times.
Honestly, what does Canadian internal politics pertaining to privacy rights and voter data have to do the war in Ukraine? You simply could have said "We have the right guy leading the way," rather than inject politics that has nothing to do with the war.
We have eased the politics rule because of this thread, but its discussion should pertain to the war, and the war alone.
Please refrain from it in the future. Thanks…

Dimlee, I will be 81 this year and have spent my life with Ukrainians here in Canada. I went to high school with Ukrainian kids, served in the army (a Highland regiment!) with Ukrainians, and chuckle when I remember the court battle of Bill Konyk, when he decided to call his restaurant Hunky Bill's almost 6 decades ago and people complained that this was a derogatory name for Ukrainians. The BC Supreme court decided that he had been Hunky Bill since childhood and he could name the restaurant after himself. Bill is gone now, but the family still carries on. Ukrainians are an important part of Canada. Of course we will support Ukraine.Canada to Ukraine: new military aid.

As a Canadian tax-payer, I am 100% comfortable that the AFU will use this equipment to its full capabilities and only wish we would do more to help Ukraine resist the Russian aggression. Slava Ukraini!!Canada to Ukraine: new military aid.
