Is a 42 years old machine precise enough?A Spanish firm has been linked to the delivery of a 110-ton forging machine to Russia, raising concerns about potential violations of international sanctions and Moscow's efforts to sustain its artillery production amid the war in Ukraine, according to a report by Militarnyi.
Forward Technical Trade SL, based in Albacete, Spain, reportedly sold a used computer numerical control (CNC) forging machine to Russia's AZK Group for $1.3 million. The equipment, manufactured in 1983 by Austrian company Gesellschaft für Fertigung (GFM), is capable of producing large-caliber artillery barrels, the report said.
Court documents revealed that the transaction was facilitated via Hong Kong-based Scorpion's Holding Group Limited, with the shipment cleared by Russian customs in Nizhny Novgorod.

I wonder what the actual Russian gains are this year. There is always a lot of press when Ukraine loses an area but regularly we see small articles on Ukraine making gains in captured territory.

What I find interesting, is Russia rejected the ultimatum.
People are saying 50 days is "too long", but do they think Russia would have reacted differently to 10 days or 30 days?
Of course Putin wouldn't.
What I am curious about, though, is why 50 days. What's going on in the background that requires such a specific amount of time?

Forgive me if I don't hold my breath.....
Reportedly, Putin told Trump 10 days ago that he requires 2mths for his summer offensive and thus 10 days + 50 days = 60 days or two mths.
