Both. The original 6 x6 was based on the the Volvo A30D 6×6 articulated all-terrain hauler vehicle. The Rheinmetall HX2 8×8 (HX44M) variant is a more recent development.

Sweden has actually ordered the 8x8 version as they also have the basic truck in service.Being a Swede, I'd obviously go with the Volvo, but I do like the 8x8....

Okay, I'm a Warthog fan. I understand the A-10 is past its prime. While the Su-25 might be more useful, how many Su-25s does Ukraine have left? One Warthog might be more useful than no Frogfoot. The A-10 isn't to be used against hordes of Russian tanks over the Fulda Gap but hordes of drones over Ukraine.
Plus, any excuse for us all writing "brrrrrrt" is a good thing.

I have some sympathy for peoples views on the A10 in Ukraine, but I would bet a penny to a pound that they would prefer some of those F16's which the USA has in its possession.
