Heck, how many flight worthy airframes of F-15Cs or Es are in the boneyard? That'd be way funner than A-10s.

Flight worthy? No idea.

But there are currently 184 F-15C and a single F-15E stored at the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG).

You can search the inventory here: The AMARC Experience - The AMARC Experience

The vid is not wrong - the A-10s rather low speed, long loitering time and good maneuverability makes this in theory an interesting Anti-Shahed platform. If it does not have an air search radar may negate many of the good aspects.
As I understand, there are those types of airborne manned anti-drone platforms today:
1. Jet fighters, Soviet and Western.
2. Old light prop a/c as Yak-52 with various armament tested.
3. New light a/c as Shark. Probably, only for jamming.
Probably, A-10 could do everything that those three types do. Not sure about the operational costs, if they can be lower than those of F-16 and Mirage 2000. Also, the training...

Summary of the latest Ramstein group meeting.

New US-NATO financing, Patriots and funds for drones from Germany, Canada in the "Danish" model, Dutch and Norwegian contributions to air defence, a lot of stuff from Sweden.

Ah, and more ammo for the lovely cat - Gepard - top 1 in anti-drone city defence today, and one of the iconic pieces of hardware. At least for the "old school" public. :) Her Brrrr is not so famous as of A-10, probably, but it's very reassuring for the civilians at night.
