Funny how the Kremlin can throw the nuke word around like a daily greeting, but the moment anyone counters their threat, the Kremlin loses their minds.

Even better would have been, "But yeah, ours actually work." Because I suspect cannibalization/corruption has rendered a good part of Russia's nuclear park inoperative.

But yeah, if the Kremlin is worried about nuclear rhetoric, they should put a ball-gag on Medvedyev ... I'd suggest handcuffs too but he might like that too much.

Here's the kicker:
The Prez mentioned two subs, but what he didn't mention, are the ones already on station plus the Aegis cruisers which have intercept/counter-strike capabilities.

And Medvedev isn't the only tool in Putler's ballbag, Shoigu plus his media mouthpieces (like that annoying chick who's name I fortunately forget) also do the "nuke blah blah blah".

The Russians conveniently forget that little Ukraine has given the mighty mother Russia a black eye - starting shit whith an actual world super power will absolutely, without question, not end well.
