What I find interesting though, is that for all of Russia's efforts, they have been stymied by (mostly) second-hand western gear.

That speaks well of the people who designed and built those weapons, but both sides are learning big lessons in this war. My own fear is that we Americans won't pay attention to those lessons, busy as we are with other things.

As North Korea, russia and China gain combat experience, so too are the Ukrainians and ultimately western militaries.

They have been stymied far far more by the willingness of the Ukrainians to defend their own country. Its hard to describe but think of it this way. If you just got engaged to your future wife and you are driving along the road and see her trapped in a burning car you will develop inhuman strength to get the car doors open and to save her life. Other people will just drive on by as they would rather be elsewhere. The Ukrainians are in a burning car. The Russians are the other drivers.

and ohh surprise!

didn't see that coming, did you? :tearsofjoy:

The Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine have recently released some statistics. Updated regularly.
Press the "USF Grouping" at the top for total figures or choose one of the units. Data displays with a delay.

Support was proposed after NK was found to be supporting Russia, but the SK public opposed involvement.

Not sure why, but the SK government backed down to public push-back.
The less I say about the attitudes of Sth Koreans re this sort of thing the better. I have had quite a lot of dealings with them re Defence matters and I am far from impressed with their attitudes.

BS!! The Ukrainians have been fighting and dying defending their country. the need is for the weapons to do so and in meaningful quantities, timeframes, not drip fed with strings attached.
