I never thought I'd see the day where the USA position is that an emerging democratic nation in Europe should surrender to Russian aggression. POTUS 33-41, Cold War warriors to a man, all dedicated to containing Russia and defending democracy and freedom in Europe, must be turning over in their graves.

Yes, he's got Trump with his (I think intentional) vacillating, but at the end of the day there's dead Russians shipping home in droves, increased economic stresses that may implode unforeseen, and cabals inside his government that are jockeying for position once things go sideways. That looooooong dining table from a few years ago wasn't only from Covid, I suspect.
