All supporting nation reacted too slow with large military hardware help as they were afraid of the nuclear threats. Once these faded away as proven BS the help started to roll in but too slow and Bureaucratic. Biden could have given many more M2 and much earlier, possibly also a higher contingent of M1.
Trump thinks as an arms salesman, not as a statesman that helps a democratic nation fighting for their survival.
Imagine Trump as WW2 US leader: there won't be any Lend Lease. No money no help.

Sealion was a failure and Britain possess the largest navy afloat. There will be no German landings, and while North Africa and perhaps even Suez will be lost, the RN will see enough convoys of food from Canada and the Empire will get through. Britain would have held out until Germany's Dec 1941 own goal declaration of war against the US.

That's assuming Ass Hat would declare war on the U.S. - if the U.S. was not providing USN Atlantic Neutrality patrols plus ships, aircraft, munitions and food to Great Britain, then why should he?

Trump would have continued "cash-and-carry" throughout the war, I suspect ... while using that leverage for position post-war.

To be fair, we did the same until the spring of 1941, until the British had almost run out of cash reserves anyway. Only after the fall of France did we Americans see that the shit had truly hit the fan and in our slow legislative process begin work to address the problem.

You are correct in the early days most countries supplied 'old stock' equipment that was reaching the end of their shelf life. There were notable exceptions such as the NLAWS which started to be supplied before the invasion, but the general statement I believe to be correct.
However things have moved on and a lot of the equipment is now new and/or modern, CV90's, some of the artillery systems and a range of personnel carriers are as good as they get. It is also fair to say that some has been designed specifically for the conflict in particular some of the AA and anti drone equipment.

I didn't take it as anything flippant. I thought you were asking for amplification. I threw the M-113 in as a small joke. A very small joke.
