Actually was thinking about something...

If ever mullas in iran get toppled, what would be effects on Russia, on grand scale?

Lets say that Russia have good military capabilities, both for its Ground and Air Forces, also tons of natural resources, including oil.

I mean Drones are not something that Russia can't make them locally, beside that Russia is well known for its Tanks and Military Aircrafts.

In terms of political power, Russia is way more powerfull than Iran.

Exactly what would Russia loose?

I would think of loosing access to tons of "brainwashed" terorists like Hamas and Hezbollah, but i don't think they (Hamas and Hezbollah) care about Russia and Ukraine, or the EU, in general.
I do not have enough knowledge of Iran, but I can suggest the following negative consequences for Moscow:
- reduction or stoppage of Iranian military shipments that continue and include ammunition, from small arms to ballistic missiles and, probably, components for drone production.
- reduced Iranian participation or complete withdrawal from the "International North-South Transport Corridor"
- less intelligence in the Middle East
- more active policies of other Caspian Sea countries, with friendly or at least neutral Iran, there is less chance to turn the Caspian Sea into the "Russian Lake"
- one major threat less for Israel means less Moscow's influence in Tel-Aviv

Edit:
The Caspian Sea is becoming less hospitable for certain ships.... One more ship has encountered troubles on its route from Iran to Astrakhan. Read news about m/v Caspian Shiva.

And if you believe that...
"Russia's top diplomat angrily rejected U.S. allegations that Moscow was preparing a pretext to invade Ukraine, as Russian troops that are amassed near the Ukraine border launched more drills...
Speaking to reporters, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov dismissed the U.S. claim as "total disinformation.""

it seems it was on a glide-bombing run and repeated that flight path for several days. So they may have set up a trap. As the path was near Snake Island this tiny location may have played an important role again.

Where? I don't see anything.

It is not the case that the individual fighters care about Russia or Ukraine. Rather it is a case that Russia takes advantage of their 'alliance' (loose term but given both Russia and Iran have common enemies in the form of the 'West' and are actively providing each other weapons support) essentially says to Iran "look comrade, it would be really useful to our mutual aims if you could stir up some trouble in Israel...that would help give us some room to do other things...we will make it worth your effort...." Iran then agrees and gets the likes of Hamas to go do something -= and let's be honest, the fighters on the ground don't need much pushing and they don't really care why they are being asked since it aligns with their own motives anyway. In the end, they are just being semi-willing pawns.

BTW when I talk about countries here, I am not saying everyone in said countries or groups think this way. It is really only a few, well placed individuals. but that's all it generally takes.
Yeah, I completly understand your point to diferentiate between "Normal People", like yourself and me, with the "ruling regime and figures" as likes of Khameneh iee, Putin or Trump.

On the other hand, Russia was not and is not considered a respectable neighboor, nor ally throughout past 250 years.

I believe Polish people and their view about Russia, is a good example for what most of Iranian people think of Russia. I used Poland as an example, for several reasons, including my very tiny knowledge about History of Poland within past 250 years, and as a European Nation, pretty sure there are more sources available in English about this subject.

Red and Black, as we call it, was not productive for us, Iranians throughout history.

I totally agree with these! But I think Russia is also very well aware of the dangers of this "Timed Bomb" he is making. Those terorists would attack anyone who opposes their beliefs and ideoligies, regardless of every and any thing, including Nationality.

My proof is that Russian couple that were killed at Bondi Beach massacre earlier this year, and dozens of East Asian people, at October 7th.

I know that when I lived in Teheran, distrust, suspicion, and active dislike of the USSR was not just Imperial policy, but sentiments shared by many Iranians.
