Right now Ukraine should be shouting very loud in Hungary that Ukraine is not willing to send Ukrainian staff on suicide mission where they will be killed by Russia while repairing the pipeline.

Hungary and Slovakia are most welcome to send in their own repair crews for the pipeline but Ukraine will not accept responsibility when Russia murders those crews.

I think Ukraine's best answer is a dignified silence. If Orban is willing to carry water for Putin's Russia, he can goddamned well work out a repair scheme with Russia himself.
