Correct. I also think people are too harsh on Chamberlain. One has to remember the context back then: That generation had experienced WW1 less than 20yrs beforehand and were desperate to avoid a repeat. They were also trying to buy time for their own rearmament. That is not the case (entirely) with the current situation.
