Arrogance (a dismissive attitude towards others), and hubris (a false sense of invincibility) has led the German people into trouble over more than 150 years since unification. Nowadays, look how the Chinese are now taking over the EV business in Europe, a space where VW-Audi should be dominant. Or how South Korea is now selling K2 tanks to Poland, right in the Leopard II's (and MAN/Rheinmetall's) backyard.

This is why I think Canada will choose the Korean SSK over the German offering.

Ja. Just like the British swine built Spitfires in their backyard sheds. Rheinmetal records show it made no difference as Germany won the Battle of Britain and kept air superiority for the whole of WW2.
