About the last attack on Kyiv and the region, two information pieces from the Ministry of Defence.
1. Encouraging - drone interceptors destroyed 40% of incoming Russian UAVs (600 total). This segment of air defence is developing fast, and we can expect a higher share in the future. Benefits: cost efficiency, fewer risks for air defence teams, and other, more expensive equipment can be redeployed to other duties.
2. Puzzling - several of the incoming missiles hit places that were attacked many times since 2022: a former factory (relocated after the first attacks in the spring of 2022) and Ground Forces HQ (relocated before the 2022 invasion).
