Given this means the US suppliers do not give a #$%^& about how many civilians in Ukraine and the Gulf states die because they refuse to scale production I think Ukraine should disassemble a Patriot and start producing low cost analogs ASAP or sooner.

I'd be cautious about that comment, because *if* Ukraine manufactured Patriots, there would be licensing revenue.
Let's also consider that Ukraine has had Patriot batteries in service, they are fully capable of reverse engineering.
Sadly this was to be expected. Ukraine will now have to hope for improvement of European missiles and their own development. US manufactures may lose lots of their market if the European/Ukrainian missiles come out at least equal in quality but far cheaper/faster to produce. Or there will be Frankensteins like modified S-300 or Patriot Pac-2 to work better vs Ballistics missiles. Vs Cruise missiles the Iris-T system proved to be very effective at a fraction of Patriot costs.

I suggested several pages back that Ukraine built a lower cost missile that fits in the Patriot launchers and sell it to the Arab nations and others who have Patriot batteries and a shortage of Patriot ammunition (missiles) as another source of revenue.
Reverse engineering has the potential to result in patent issues - designing from a blank sheet of paper does not as much.
Being 100% Ukrainian designed ammunition there would be no licence issues just like when brand X makes their 100% different bullets that can be fired from brand A's guns. The Ukrainian ammo would also be impossible for the US to have control over that prevents usage against Russia because I doubt the Patriot contracts ban other ammunition because the US would have arrogantly ignored the possibility that someone else could make a copy, let alone a better and/or cheaper missile that can be fired from a Patriot battery.
The US administrations backflip on the promise at the NATO conference for Ukraine to licence build Patriot ammo makes this a priority.
