Hi Dave - my question was awkwardly expressed. More directly, can the code compare boundary layer build up in turbulent flow to predict approximate location of adverse pressure gradient triggering full blown separation? I have always pondered comparisons between a NACA 23016 configured wing with the NAA/NACA 45-100 to better understand the pressure drag comparisons.

His Father was not a pilot, that's one of the Brown myths, his Father served in the RFC balloon unit stringing communication links. "Wings on my sleeve" is not an authentic account. Read the book "Winkle" by Paul Beaver for the truth, he was a 40 year friend of Brown, Brown allowed Beaver full access to his records in order to pen his biography but only after he, Brown, had died.
