Why is it, when you buy books at the Amazon.co.uk, shipping anywhere in the world to here is £2.80, but when you think that you've got a good deal on your hands at the Amazon.com, you almost choke on your coffee/tea/whatever...
Had three good books in my basket at Amazon.com, but when I got to the checkout, I almost fainted, the S/H was almost four times the price of the books, over £50, one book was a shade over $1, another was just over $8, the third was almost $15, in the end, the lot would have have been roughly £71 with the shipping....Just to say, buying them here on the Amazon.co.uk, the lot would have been £49 and that's only because I couldn't find the two cheapest books here, otherwise the price would have been even lower...
Probably should have put this in the what annoyed you today thread....
