Until the end of September this year, the Tank Museum, Bovington, UK was the only place in the world that had a fully working Tiger 1. But this has now changed as, after a long restoration, the Tiger at Musee des Blindes, Saumur, France, is now running under its own power.

Karl and I were at Musee des Blindes on 26th June this year, and saw the display area where the Tiger had been, showing info boards on the progress of the restoration, but no tank unfortunately.
The Tiger now joins the Museum's running Tiger II, and will be displayed at regular events.
