Did more over the weekend but only now getting the chance to post.

For the doghouse assembly, I knew that this type of plastic is incompatible with most adhesives. I had to create a surface where CA glue or epoxy would work so I roughed up the plastic with sandpaper and painted it with lacquer which tends to bond very well with this kind of plastic. Then I painted it with green zinc chromate.

Came out rather well. Still more to do with this assembly. Waiting for it to completely dry. By the way, I can not even scratch the paint off. Worked out really well.
Next I went to work on the control panel. Added the canvas cover and the gauges like so...

I then did some scribing on the wall in front to get the texture of the padding in the front area. Also added the support bracket between the rudder pedals as shown in the prior photograph.

Still working on the curtain and the area under the pilots.

And now, ... the curtains. I've had to use a little artistic license since I've never found a photo or drawing as to how its hung. I used tissue paper soaked in white glue and water, cut to size, fitted, folded, painted, glued into place and tied. I hope you like the result. Should someone find a picture or drawing as to how these were hung, let me know and I'll correct it. You know, as much as I tinker with all sorts of things I might as well have the moniker of "Local Tinker" added to my avatar. What do you say Wurger?

Attached the dog house. Thanks for the pictures George they were very helpful. Currently working on the canvas cover to the dog house.

The styrine strips you see are very thin... 0.010". The edge trim where the canvas will attach is 0.020" square strip styrene. As you can see, it attaches very well to the plastic of the dog house.

From all the information I've gotten from George, and through many an Internet search, I've been able to determine that the attachment of the curtains was not with a regular rod.. Not one bracket or attachment of any kind was visible in any photo viewed. This leads me to believe that the attachment for the curtain is contained in the door jam. I have removed the rod from the model and just left the attached and secured curtain in place.

Thanks guys for all the help and kind comments. Attached the canvas portion of the tail wheel assembly. I used glue saturated tissue paper because it allows me to move it around while attaching without tearing it in the process and it seems to be in scale.

First I measured and cut to approximate width with some extra length for the curves.

Then that piece was fitted up to the halfway point and glued with CA glue where the canvas would attach on the dog house and along the edges.

After it dried, another piece was attached opposite the piston on the tail landing gear.

That piece was then trimmed.

Now to lace up the center parts and paint OD green.
