B-17 G 1:48 scale, 351st Bomb Group, 510th Squadron, AC# 43-37862, Fearless Fosdick

Found some time to do more on the plane. There are two, what looks like, a couple of accumulators. These are situated in that area beneath the instrument panel. These I have scratch built. I also worked on the wall next to it. Next I painted up the two side control panels.

It's looking the biz - nice work !

You will probably find that printing your own instruments as decals, or even on paper, in anything less than at least 1/24th scale, will not hold enough resolution to show the dials clearly, especially on the smaller instruments, such as engine dials etc.
There are a few companies that supply decals, in most of the major scales, one of which is shown below, this being their RAF WW2 type, in 1/48th scale, with USAAF, Luftwaffe etc also available.
These are separate decals for each instrument, and can be used, straight off the sheet, just by cutting out each decal - the carrier film is minimal, and circular. Full instructions and identification of each dial are provided.
