Ohh you wrong there... very wrong.

But jokes a side please do share what you want.
What am I wrong about?

I will reach out to my mother and see if she can send me some pictures, which will take a few days I imagine.

I've attached some photos of my grandfather I highlighted standing with his crew in front of his plane. Also attached his lucky bastard club.

I forgot to mention I spoke with my mother and she provided clarification on how the name came about.

"Skipper" was the nickname of his first child Tom my uncle.
"The Kid" was the nickname he gave my grandmother.

About that :) . No I, and if i might say say all of us, realley like these bits of history.

It was a gest, nothing more. Thank you for sharing this.

What strikes me is the amount of higher up officers that signed this.
Oh haha I apologize for letting that sarcasm fly straight over my head.

Speaking with my cousin this AM my uncle has a flight journal, i will see if it pertains to this aircraft. I will try my best to keep everything "Skipper" related.

I'm not 100% positive if he was piloting the Skipper but I remember him telling me a story regarding Pearl Harbor.

Yeah Snautzer01 Snautzer01 I remember him saying "someone thought it was a good idea to "park" all these planes in a straight line" so he "parked" off next to the woods away from the pack! Apparently got an ass chewing for this. How ironic and "Lucky"!!

Okay so now I'm confused. The tail number doesn't match the one reported that crashed.
