Hi Guys
I am back with a new part that I am hoping to get help identifying. The part is not in the greatest condition and has made reading the part numbers on it very difficult. I have attached these photos and think there is a number (code) on it that is B-SAE68 or B-SAE63 and another number possibly SP3539 or SP8539. Any ideas??? Also has the letters ETWS on it.

Wow thanks very much for the information so definitely another B-17 part from WW2 excellent
I double checked, part number AN-4061-2 is to the Wright R-2600 crankcase, not 4061-1, sorry for that.
The R-2600 was used on such aircraft as the Baltimore, B-25 and A-20, not the B-17, which used the R-1820.

I'll have to dig a little deeper to see what the difference is between 4061-1 and 4061-2.

AN parts are standard parts and can be found on multiple engines and airframes.

Unfortunately that part number does not show on my CIVIL R-1820 manuals - which probably means Wright had their own part number for the same part. My civil parts catalogs do not even list one AN part number which strongly supports this supposition.

I do not have a military R-1820 manual on hand so unfortunately cannot confirm this

I have another 2 parts that hopefully someone can help me identify. The first might be from a tractor from the fields but I think it might be from a B-17. Cannot make out any part numbers on the part but there is something that looks like it starts with a "V".

The second part was found a few years ago in the field where 42-97872 (401st BG 614th BS "Rosie's Sweat Box") crashed and is probably from the stricken B-17. The part is 6cm high and width is shown in the picture. The part seems to have distinct degrees or timing markings on the base as shown in picture 4. Looks like the letters A T behind the line markings.

Look forward to any comments on these parts
