Dose anyone know about the B-29 color schemes? Someone on another site brought this up and so far the only thing found is the high polished exterior. Were they ever painted?

I believe some of the ELINT birds had their undersides painted black.

A few of the early B-29s were painted on OD over grey. One was sent to GB before the war ended. I wanted to build one for the heavy hitters GB.

    Those were USAAF B-29s. We're talking post-war "Washingtons B.Is"
