Best box art

This one had me sold. Built it in the late 60s. I think it was the only B-17 I ever built. I remember asking my father what a dicer was.
He trained on B-17s in 1944 before being shipped out to the Pacific. Told me it was a de-icer....silly me. John

Roy Cross, who created much of Airfix box art in the early years is 100 years old. I remember many of the pictures, I didnt realise one man
did them all (at the time).
