So, as this is my first post here I'd like to say hello to everyone. My question is: I usually find the 20mm or 30mm gun pods of the Bf 109 simply designated as "gun pods" or "MG 151/20 in gondolas". Now the Luftwaffe had a gun pod called WB 81, WB for "Waffenbehälter" and 81 for the weapon used, the Mauser MG 81. This pod was obviously used by Ju 87 aircraft for ground attack, so does anyone here know if the gun pods on the Bf 109 had a similar designation? Like "WB 151/20" or "WB 108"? I found the designation WT 151/20 somewhere for "Waffentropfen", and this designation was used for the 20mm twin gun pod the Fw 190 was able to field. Thanks for any input here!

Can't remember to have ever seen a specific designation for the gondola guns. WT 151 was used for the Bf 110 but not on Fw 190

Thanks for all your replies. It seems to me that on the 109 and 190 the gunpods themselves did NOT have a special designation (except for the WB 81 pod for the Ju 87), and that those weapons were simply referred to as MG 151/20, MK 108 and so on. Very well then. Thanks for your help, guys!
