You're right. I missed some details...The A/C in the foreground is definitly a BV222 with only one wing & 3 engines in the image(not a BV238). Are you speaking of the DO 24 or JU 52's in the background?
The BV238 is larger and was powered by DB603 engines, with the Radiators located more forward under the front of the engine's. The aircraft in the picture looks to have Junkers Jumo 200 series diesel engines.

At first glance I thought it was the wing of a Bv 138 being lowered onto the fuselage. It was initially hard for me to wrap my head around what I was seeing.
