Hi all and a Happy New Year.
I came across this unit some time ago ref # 5D/659. All in all it's the same as the 5D/656 for which there is a lot of info available but i can find next to nothing on this one. Basically the differences are that this unit is numbered 17 - 32 which leads me to believe it was used in conjunction with the 5D/656 as this is numbered 1 - 16., and there is no turning knob for the display sight.
If anyone can shed some light on this unit i'd appreciate it!
    Thanks in advance.
    Mark.

Just a guess, but maybe for Lincoln, or Shackleton bomb stations, the latter, I believe, having more shackle points than the Lancaster.
